Motorboat License Category A or Sailing License Category D
1. Fill out the registration form and submit it to the shipping office.
2. Pass the theory test at the road traffic office (Strassenverkehrsamt).
3. Attend a motorboat or sailing course on the lake. This can also be started before the theory test.
4. Completion of the boating or sailing exam & obtaining your boat operator's license (category A) or sailing license (category D)
